» Learn to Love PUGs - Its World of Warcraft PUG Bingo!

World of Warcraft fans have recently been experimenting with a different kind of gaming experience. The combination of a traditional bingo game card and the actions and events from World of Warcraft PUG sessions is a new mixture of gaming fun that is drawing the fantasy game players into the world of bingo.

Many gamers will have tried their hand at online bingo, but now they can combine the thrills of scoring their bingo cards with their favourite online fantasy game! World of Warcraft PUG bingo uses a bingo card with the letters B-I-N-G-O written across the top and boxes vertically placed beneath these boxes. Various World of Warcraft actions and events of PUG sessions are described within these boxes.

These bingo cards are designed to be used in the infamous PUG gaming sessions, that is, in pick up groups. Pick up groups are where players find a group to complete task with that they have picked up along their adventures rather than with a pre-designated group.

The idea is that the less experienced players in the pick-up group may fall foul of some of the events on the cards. Some of the events are less than complimentary, for example, ‘Someone goes AFK because his mom called’ and ‘Someone stands in the AoE and dies’!

Other disastrous events and jokey categories on the World of Warcraft PUG Bingo gaming cards include: ‘Someone rolls need on the frozen orb’, ‘The healer has 14K mana or less’, ‘A gnome or tarden with a stupid novelty name’, and ‘The enchanter isn’t skilled enough to disenchant epics’. All of these happenings will of course always create stirs of disapproval, irritation or pure amusement – depending on how seriously you take your World of Warcraft gaming!

But now that World of Warcaft PUG Bingo can be a side game in your regular online gaming sessions, no longer will it have to be a moment of dread as the PUG session begins. Players can instead look forward to scoring off the events on their bingo cards with a wry smile.

World of Warcraft players may even start to look forward to the PUG sessions and be determined to score off that full house – a complete cover-all!

Traditional bingo has two versions, 75 ball or 90 ball games. World of Warcraft PUG bingo cards are laid out in the style of 75 ball bingo with rows and columns arranged 5x5 with one empty box in the middle.

Although most of the PUG Bingo card events or categories are aimed at the negative eventualities, they don’t all have to be. Some are simply regular events, such as asking ‘Can I need, please?’ – mere politeness some gamers would say.

There are three different PUG Bingo gaming cards to choose from all with different categories. World of Warcraft PUG players can decide which bingo card they want to play with. But there is nothing to stop gamers from making up their own events and categories and playing along with friends as they conduct separate gaming sessions.

It’s time to add a bit of extra fun and light relief to your PUG sessions as you play World of Warcraft. No more stressing over other players’ foibles – celebrate those events that allow you to score off another box and draw closer to a World of Warcraft PUG bingo black out!
