Hello, long-time DBM user. I had a suggestion I would love to see added that I think would be very useful.

In DXE there is an on-screen countdown a few seconds before defile is scheduled to go off (based on the timer bar). By this I mean there are big numbers that appear in the middle of the screen as it's about to come up (so 3, 2, 1...). This would be an excellent addition to DBM, in my opinion. If it could possibly have a sound associated with it, possibly a different one than is used when a Defile is on or near you, that would also be excellent.

that's just subject to failure though. if any other cast overlaps like valks or infest it may push back a defile cast anywhere from 2-5 seconds. it's why defile is a CD timer and not a next timer. it is a guideline but you can't say with any definitivey certainty that's when defile will happen. there is a "defile soon" warning though few seconds before though and the bar does grow big when its close if 2nd (big) anchor is used.

Right, I understand. I apologize, I don't think I was completely clear on my request. I do understand that the timers can line up and he can push off the defile due to an infest, or Val'kyr. Moreso I was just looking for a warning that the cooldown is up, and at some point very soon it will be used, not anything absolutely precise. Basically an optional countdown other than the bar. I will test the pre-defile warning, though. I'm not sure if I had that enabled up to this point, but I see it in the newest alpha. I do have Bar 2 enabled as well. I understand if this is not worthwhile, however.

that would also be kinda useless. if he is NOT casting anything when timer is up he will cast it immediately. as soon is timer is up he casts it unless he's already casting something else.
